Kimberly Sims, LSCSW

I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kansas. I received a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Wichita State University.

I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. My style of therapy is a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solutions-focused therapy, strengths-based, mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I am part of the DBT team here at Adult, Child, and Family Counseling, providing individual and group DBT treatment. I have experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and trauma.

I provide a relaxed and compassionate atmosphere where clients can feel safe and empowered. I feel it is important to get to know my clients and build rapport as part of the therapeutic relationship. I look forward to meeting you and working with you through your healing journey.
