I’m Michelle Jones, and I’m delighted to be your partner on the path to well-being and healing. With a background as an elementary school counselor and specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, I offer a unique blend of expertise to guide individuals aged 10 and up on their journey towards emotional health and resilience.
Having spent seven years as a kindergarten through second grade teacher and five years as an elementary school counselor, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of counseling in young lives. My journey led me to Somatic Experiencing, a powerful therapeutic approach that taps into the wisdom of the body to address trauma, reduce stress, and promote healing.
I understand that each individual is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. Whether you’re struggling with school-related challenges, anxiety, trauma, or simply seeking a safe space to explore your emotions, I’m here to help. Through Somatic Experiencing techniques, we’ll work together to restore balance, resilience, and a sense of self-empowerment.
I offer guidance for trauma resolution and healing; school-related issues and academic support; anxiety management and stress reduction; emotional regulation and self-esteem building; and individual counseling sessions for ages 10 and up.
