Annie Walters, LMSW

Annie Walters, LMSW

Annie is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) deeply committed to fostering healing and growth in her community. With experience supporting hospice patients and their families, she has developed a profound understanding of the grieving process and the emotional complexities of life transitions. Annie works with both teens and adults, offering support for those navigating grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and major life changes.

Annie also brings experience working with clients managing chronic health conditions, including Type 2 diabetes, and those exploring the physical and emotional impacts of GLP-1 medication use. She understands the unique challenges that can accompany medical diagnoses and is passionate about helping clients approach their health journeys with self-compassion and curiosity rather than shame.

In addition to individual therapy, Annie works with couples to help improve communication, rebuild emotional connection, and foster a deeper understanding of one another. She creates a supportive space where partners can navigate challenges together and strengthen their relationship through compassion, openness, and intentional dialogue. Her mission is to provide a non-judgmental, compassionate space where clients feel safe to explore their inner world and lived experiences.

Annie is LGBTQIA+, poly, and kink affirming, and believes in creating a therapeutic environment that honors each client’s identity and values. She utilizes a self-compassion-based approach, ensuring every person she works with feels genuinely understood and supported.

Annie is honored to walk alongside her clients in their healing process and remains deeply dedicated to supporting personal growth, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.
